The chances are you don’t and that’s why we’ve decided we are going to make a podcast solely based on discussing topics of what is currently happening in the music industry, as well as the behind-the-scenes scoop which may have contributed greatly to an artist’s success.

Think of who your favourite music artist is. Is it Bryson Tiller? Travis Scott? Post Malone? Logic, Tory Lanez, or Chance the Rapper? Even if they weren’t your favourite, you’ve most likely heard of them before due to the amount of success they have, I mean, you’ve definitely heard of their songs on the radio before (unless you live under a rock of course). But do you ever stop and wonder what road they took to reach the fame and success they currently have?

It may come as a surprise, but the artists I’ve mentioned above had their success handed to them on a plastic platter by their label (the plastic platter being the contract they’ve signed their soul to). Well, so what if they had their success handed to them by their label? They are rich and famous at the end of the day, right? I mean, that’s the only reason why someone would want to be an artist after all. Obviously, their richness and their success comes at a cost (hint: the artists themselves have said it, you are happier than them).
