veryone can agree that High School is a very important part of your life. With all the homework you do, all the people you meet, and all the experiences you find, it can be a lot. That is where our podcast comes in. Our podcast is here to help you be informed with all the latest news and trends that is going around in High School and we are here to give you the information you need to survive High School. Our podcast will be covering all the topics that are related to High School and our first season is going to be about Vaping and Drugs. One thing that our podcast will have that other’s won’t is that we’re going to talk to you guys and get your feedback and your take on the topics that we talk about. We will get perspectives from teachers, students and professionals that are very educated in our topic.
Olivier, Matthew and I are the right people to be making a podcast about High School as we are all in High School ourselves! So, we will see all this happening unlike others such as adults and scientists trying to just state the facts and statistics without actually witnessing it. But for us, we will be talking and giving in our perspectives as well, (kind of like a day in the life). We will also have the chance to interview other students at our own school and other high schools. We already got some perspectives from students on vaping and you can check that out here. But because our topic for our first season is about vaping, we are going to be having to do some extra work and researching about vaping to give you guys the right information. But you guys are in luck because in our New Media 11 class, we will be learning about how to be great podcasters and be great researchers. For example you guys can check out our post on the movie Shattered Glass, because we analyzed the movie and learned all about the 5 Important Interview Techniques that will help us give very good reports and interviews with professionals like Dr. Christopher Carlsten and Ted Holkestad.
We believe that our podcast has a lot of potential to be the next big podcast as it is very unique and a popular subject to both a young audience and old as we inform them on High School because it is always changing for the better and for the worse. Our podcast won’t be boring and the same, each season will have it’s own fresh and different topic and we really hope you enjoy it.
