
Food has always been such a big part of our lives. As the pandemic rages on, food and the food industry has changed drastically. Many people have their wonderful opportunities cut off by Covid-19 to travel and explore the different local cuisine across the world. In our podcast, we would like to invite you to a journey over the oceans and seas, taking a look at all the amazingly diverse food without stepping out of the comfort of your home. We hope that you have a napkin tucked into your shirt as we take you by the hand and show you the great stories that we are going to share with all of you.
This is a significant topic due to the fact that humans are born to explore the unknown. Since we don’t have the chance to go out and do it ourselves this year, we would like to bring the unknown to you. Even though this pandemic might have brought out a lot of negative emotions in us, it is optimal to have a positive outlook to the situation. Food always brings back good memories of sitting around the table with your friends and family, enjoying the moment, just talking and having a good time. This leads to a longing for the food that you might have left behind at home or another country. This podcast is our mission to show you the amazing cultures around the world. We want to use this podcast as a way to connect you, people who want to learn more, to the people who submit their own stories to us. As Anthony Bourdain had said “If you’re twenty-two, physically fit, hungry to learn and be better, I urge you to travel – as far and as widely as possible. Sleep on floors if you have to. Find out how other people live and eat and cook. Learn from them – wherever you go.” Although this might not be possible right now, we use this chance to urge you to be more open minded and look at the things that you might have missed and try to gain more knowledge through this podcast.

These stories might bring you to tears, make you laugh out loud, you might nod your head in understanding, or even all that was mentioned. These stories include different categories of food, such as junk food, comfort food, and exotic food. Our guests on the podcast will tell you their experience with food and their passion for their career in regards to food. We want to show you how the food industry has changed over the course of mere months in response to the Covid-19 situation. What methods have restaurants taken to protect themselves and their patrons? Would these businesses evolve as they are forced to abide by lockdown rules? Religion and culture is such a huge part of a person’s diet. How are they affected by the pandemic? What will be the future of this industry? Technology is moving as fast as light. We believe that we are the appropriate people to do this podcast as we love the exhilarating ride of exploring new ideas and food is such a near and dear topic to us. Our family and culture are also big parts of us. Since we are both from different places of the world, we think that we can share more about us and where we are from with this podcast.
